I noticed with the DC 8's I had in there, temporarily, in a ported enclosure that they were pretty deep, but in the higher notes they just lacked. It was tuned to 34hz. The 4th I'm planning is tuned to 52hz to start. Then I'll play with the port till I'm happy with it. CJ18 has been helping me with the numbers. I haven't talked to Moreno since he showed me the pics but I will ask him if it will even be done by Saturday. Scooter yeah you will be happy with the range that a 4th plays. I know that for music purposes I wont be using a ported anymore unless I have too. Next setup will probably try a 6th order though. Real96SS Posted August 19, 2012 Author Report Share Posted August 19, 2012 Got a chance to use my new clamp meter. I have the exact same one that Jacob uses in his clamp videos. It shows the output power in Kw right on the screen. The voltage was dropping into the 12's so the 12.9 is a guesstimate. Either way it put out some good numbers and those will only go up once I swap out my wire. Enjoy and post your videos or numbers also. Just see people talking about mid 13's and high 13's all the time. I don't know? Exhaust sounds nice and throaty! LoL just checking to see how much power I was getting from the amp.This was at idle hence the voltage drop.So at 2000rpms it should stay in the 13's which would mean more power of course.
