RooTxBeeR
Getting another 1200d and running them one to each sub would be better on your electrical because its 2 sources pulling X, against 1 source pulling 2X power. ryan916
I may have read over it but what is the coil configuration of your subs? I'm guessing d4s?

skittlesRgood
so if you get a second 1200 you can run them in 2ohm each, or strap at 4ohm. i would not suggest you run those amps, on those subs, on your electrical, at 1ohm. that would be .5ohm each amp. if you get the 2200 you can just run it at 1ohm and be fine. it is 2x the rms of the subs though so you HAVE to be careful about clipping and mechanical limits and understanding that IF your subs blow, its because of what you did and not a failure in the sub.
