JesseyMclame
So after a lot of reading and searching and such, I've come across the SA-8s. Now, I have two CVR 12's, and them suckers get loud. But I want more. I paid 180 for the pair, and as far as I'm concerned, it was a pretty good deal. I'm planning on getting an AP15001d to push them. But a lot of reading and such says the SA-8s are loud as hell. What about a SA-10? Do you think a single SA 8 or 10 would be louder than my CVRs? Current setup in my 96 Hoe Hu - Pioneer DEH-80prs. Amps - (4) Crossfire C5 1700D's, MTX Thunder 5604(mids), PPI Art 300.2 (tweets) Batts - 4 91ah rear batts, 50ah batt up front. Subs - 2 Crossfire XSv2 18's Alt - Singer 330A Front stage - Random JL & Eclipse mids, Eclipse tweets
kam311
Eh it all depends on the install man, but I do know for a fact that they would sound a hell of a lot better! An if your going with a single sub set up I would suggest getting the most cone area possible for the given amount of space you have. But the sundowns are much better subs, but honestly i would not a run a single 8 on 1500 watts, I would throw that at the 10,12, or 15 all day tho. so far... JesseyMclame
2 SA - 10 would be sick SA Yeah, but I mean for the price of one SA-10 is a little more than what I got my two 12 CVRs for. The SA-8s are a lot cheaper than the 10s too, which is kinda weird. Current setup in my 96 Hoe Hu - Pioneer DEH-80prs. danterakin
Your two CVRs will be louder just because more surface area than a single 10. Also of course smaller woofers are cheaper cause less material and less quality than its bigger brothers. If anything, getting 2 Sa-10s will be louder than 2 12 crv if in the right box with proper power. 1984 Bronco Setup 2 15" Kicker L7's 1 Hifonics Brutus 2608D 1 PDX-4.150 Kenwood x792 Deck 2 114Ah Discover Batteries 0 Gauge Everywhere 200 H/O Alt 2 Piece of shit 6.5 Lanzars Front Doors 2 Alpine Type R Coxials 4 Water Proof 6.5" Speakers Outside Car 2 4" Sound Stream for Bumper Speakers 2 6x9 Alpine Type 6 Coaxial Rear Speakers 1999 Honda Accord Coupe V6 1 Kenwood KDC-X692 Deck 2 Alpine Type S 6.5 in Doors 2 Alpine Type R 6x9" in Rear Deck 2 AQ HDC3 10's Dual 1's 2 C&D Technologies 75 Ah Batteries 4/0 Front to Rear 0 Gauge All Around Big 3 Included 1 American Bass 500.1 1 PPI ProArt A404 Old School 4-Channel Amp SOON: 300 Amp Excessive Amperage Alternator
