nice, whats the end goal for it?  Hopefully here in a few months Im going with forged pistons, 13:1 compresson on e85 and bump it up to a 250 shot and shoot for 850-900rwhp

probably going to be a complete build. I want to take care of the suspension and handling first. My boy Joe from LC32 is good friends with Kenny Dutweiler, so we are going to build a lsx as soon as I sell the ls7. I'll probably pair that with a RPM transmission. Nothing is really set in stone yet, but I know we are going to build it as if it was going to run in the Texas Mile, and try to get her in the 8 second 1/4 mile.

I was really wanting to go with a lsx but once I starting thinking about it I can't bring myself to spend $20-25k on just the engine, should be able to build the ls7 to hold 850+ for half that

People pay pretty good money for these stock ls7s, that should fund a lot of the lsx build. My priority is to sell the ls7, if I don't get a buyer, I won't build the lsx lol.
