moh.vze.com
I bought a crap load of stuff to organize my random car audio tools in the garage. I bought this $80 fold-able wooden table at home depot: Husky Tool Box top and bottom: I bought a Dremel for cutting the hole in my 6.5 abs pods from eBay: My 6.5 abs eBay speaker pods (I'm probably going to figure out if my Dremel can cut that piece of wood so I can attach it down onto it and attach the whole piece to my door). Thoughts guys? Can a Dremel trim that piece of wood into the shape of my door pod or am I better off buying a different tool for that? WalledSonic
@moh.vze.com, a jigsaw or router would be better if you cut the pods out of wood. If you cut the pods using that plastic, the dremel would be great. WalledSonic
Everything klein makes is good. Just depends on what features you need Chevy Sonic Wall (4) 15's on 10k Build Log https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/209412-2015-chevy-sonicwall4-15s10klithiumlarge-case-hairpin-us-alts/ (4) Fi SP4 15's | (2) Ampere 5Ks | Active! | Arc KS600.2 & KS125.2mini | CDT Silk Domes | Silver Flute 8s | 240Ah JY | US Alts Jeep Wrangler JK (4) 8's in a 4th Order Build Log https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/209841-shadow-2016-jeep-wrangler-jk4th-order4-8sdc-35klarge-case-hairpin-us-alts/ IG @walledsonic

audiofanaticz
On 2/23/2018 at 2:29 AM, moh.vze.com said: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Klein-Tools-400-Amp-AC-True-RMS-Auto-Ranging-Digital-Clamp-Meter-CL310/207144577 This one any good? it's on sale for $40.00 BEWARE It will only measure AC voltage, AC current, and DC voltage. It does NOT measure DC amperage. So if you wanted to test how much amperage is running through a power wire, test how much amperage your alternator is putting out, or test how much amperage your amp is using this meter WILL NOT work for any of those and you would need the CL800 from Klien to do that. So if your in the market for a clamp meter, you might as well spend the extra money now on a clamp that will do the following, or else you maybe buying new down the road. Be cautious and read all the specs because every clamp meter is advertised as"AC/DC clamp meter" even when they dont measure DC current. Must haves imo: True RMS Auto ranging (which most are) AC voltage AC amperage DC voltage DC amperage of at least 500 amps (more if you have a larger system) Minimum/average/maximum auto hold (some meters will only do min, or max) Hold button (not to be confused with the above hold features, this one will hold whatever is on the screen when you push hold) Lighted display is also a nice feature if your in the dark, or a dark spot Capacitance tester can also come in handy from time to time The Craftsman Professional 73756 is a decent clamp for around $50-75 depending where you find it that checks off most on the must have list like DC Amperage, but its not the most accurate and smaller current readings and is a bit slower than a quality brand such as a fluke (but then your paying several hundreds for something with the same features). The craftsman is what Singer uses on his alt tests.
