You get the biggest size you can buy, as long as the bolts still fit through the speaker mounting holes on the basket.

So best bet is to goto the hardware store, grab a single bolt of a few sizes, go home and check which bolt fits the holes best, then once you made your choice go back and buy all the bolts needed to mount the speakers and the correct size tnuts

I found a 50 pack of 1/4" t-nuts on ebay for $7 I think, and I went to Lows and got a lot of bolt for less than $10

And yes 1/4 will work out just fine for ya! Plus the 1/4" tnuts are easier to find! :drinks:

ive used screws on lvl 5s in my wall... granted they were bigger screws, they worked fine

unless you got a sub heavier than a lvl 5, which there are not that many.. i doubt you need bolts

im using 2 inch screws right, do u thing it would be okay?

or should i use tee nuts and bolts.?

do you know the size of the mounting wholes for the lvl 5s?

it really cold out ha.

Tee nuts and button cap torx bolts......make it hard for the thieves.

then they will prolly stab the subs haha

and thanks everyone for replying!

if some one can take out lvl 5s in a wall in a 2 door coupe, in under 10 min, more fucking power to them... there is no way in hell i can do it in under 10 min unless i have all the tools to take out the seats readily available and help to get them out.. LOL

invest in a great alarm, as well..

and no, i dont remember what size the screws were, they were big fuckers though
