FroznBeavrBALLs
Can you wire a mono amp to power your mids and highs? I feel like it can ge done just would be putting out alot of power. I was only thinking about this because I have a 1200 watt amp for my sub right now but when i upgrade im gonna be going with a bigger amp for that. And I dont have a 4 channel amp yet for my mids and highs. could I use it running at 4ohms just set the gains low? I hope its not that dumb a question... MrSkippyJ
Jesus, that is a SHIT ton of power for mids and highs. Plus a mono signal is just bad for mids and highs. BassMunky
can, but gotta run more speakers. It isn't uncommon for a mono amp to be limited in what frequencies it amplifies too. It may only go up to 200 or so hz. pa-pa-platypus
i dont think it would sound good..and you may very well spend more blowing speakers than you would just buying a 4 channel and selling the 1200 lol Quote This isn't teeball.
