01xtreme Posted November 18, 2007 Report Share Posted November 18, 2007 I still dont know why cable providers dont broadcast in 1080p. all the ones in FL are 1080i. you really dont see 1080p unless you are watching HD dvd, or Bluray...I just remembered the discovery channel, or something has 1080p, but tthats it. This 62" was made in 2000. and was bought for $7,700+ brand new. My grandparents sold it to us, and they are getting little bit smaller but going Plasma with the best quality picture his money can buy... i think its going to cost around the same price, 6-8 grand.. but heck if he gots the money go for it.. lol...
