Chasing An Audio Dream

I will begin this telling you I know most if not all of you may think this is crazy yet I will tell you all anyway my idea. I would like to begin building some custom woofers and test myself to get ideas and learn more about woofer building. I will start off pulling together parts from anyone with extra parts to just give away and purchase parts here and there from multiple forums. Going from there I will see how this goes as I build, test, and sell. I will see how things go and if it does good enough I will build custom woofers under the name dbs audio. Just an idea that I pulled together because of my love of audio and the name came from my team. I say my team because I am the current owner of team dbs. So I must send out a huge thanks to Richard Wojcik aka Techforce for giving me the chance to take over the head position over the team. Due to financial and health issues I was handed the team so of course this is where DBS came in for the name idea. Rick has been a huge help to many of us as well as a good friend so I of course want to have him involved if this all ever goes big enough for a site and such. Basically before I babble on even more what I am saying is I want to chase and audio dream of starting my own company. Yes I know there is a lot behind it and really even if I stay small and never get a big name it would be fine with me. Im in it all for the love of audio. So to this I say bassheads unite!

Yes sir, good luck to ya! I too have a dream, similar to yours. I just want to be a shop owner, and make an honest living doing what I love. I don't even care about getting rich, I just know my heart would be in it all the way. So to see you pursuing your dream is a good thing, and I wish you the very best of luck! Hell who knows, maybe one day I'll be selling your subs in my store!

I got a comp 10 sub that I blew up I would let you play with and maybe even pay for you to make it a better sub!

I was going to send my two blown 12" RF HX2's to fixmyspeaker and get a PSI rebuild and take the subs from 500w RMS to 1000w RMS but if you are serious about this and can do what they were going to do for me I wouldn't mind a custom Dbs sub plus I am always down to support a fellow SMD family member. Ill need to research more and see what I can do first before anything major. I know its all probably a crazy idea and probably wont get far at all. I did think about drawing up amp cases.
