I love to lie in order to make people like me

This thread is major fail dude. You are seriously noob status, your running lead acids in your trunk, using bits of 4 gauge for a SAZ-3500D, your boxes are barely noob level. Especially the L5 box. You need to take a seat, and wonder around this site for a while. You WILL learn a lot because its obvious you don't know much.

Fuck Hydrogen, have you ever seen a wetcell blow up!?! Wetcells do not like being recharged and discharged rapidly like yours is with that big ol kicker amp. Not to mention it looks old and well used and your voltage is probably dropping to stupid low voltages. Its a bomb sitting back there, I've had several batts blow up on me. A battery in my boat blew up in my face, along with another regular car batt I was having load tested at the local shop. I was covered in acid! I had a brand new Optima Yellow top straight from Advance Autoparts blow up due to a manufacturers defect, also right by me! Batteries are super loud when they go and damn they make a boom. Battery acid is the worst to clean up, and lucky for me didn't burn me at all. Get that shit out of your trunk, sit down and do some loitering around the site. Your "professional installs" will start to transform into something worth having and looking at bro.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and I call BS on that score bro. I don't believe it at all.

It's going to be a:

High Output 150Amp Alt ( The biggest I can fit using the stock belts and bolts... Not trying to modify anything under the hood )

Batteries: (2) Kinectik 2400s ( trunk wise ) - I have 1 already... something big in the front... Dunno yet

Wire: Install Bay 0ga - Everything double ran ( including Big 3 )

Amp(2) - I like my KX2500 - So I'm going to stick with the KX2500 - Most likely I'll go 2 of the them, But I'm going to see how far I get with 1

Subs - That's a dilemma - I have a pair of DD 3512s, But I'm not trying to do it how EVERYONE else does it. ( Using DD, DC, FI, Etc. )

... I wanna be different & make is with a " not so likely subs " - MA Audio HK12x2s, JL12w7s, RE SEx or SXX, funky pups :-/ lol - But yeah... Something not in the normal of competing...

... I'm gonna have to plan out the trunk... But have an overall picture of how I want everything...

And that dent was due to some fat f*cks fighting at a club... and they landed on my Quarter panel - that dent is out and the car is primed down now...

Vehicle: 1999 Nissan Sentra GXE 4-Dr

Head Unit: Alpine CDA-9852

Front Stage: Kicker DS6.5s w/ (4) Power Acoustik NB.4s - Rear Stage: (4) JVC 5-Way 6x9s

Sub Stage: (2) 12" Lanzar OptiDrive 1232s - Custom Ported Enclosure: 6.81cuft Tuned @ 32Hz

Sub Amp: (1) Kicker KX2500.1D - Highs Amp: AutoTek AT-1200.4

Processors: Clarion EQ-746 & Clarion MCD-360

Wiring: Install Bay 1/0 Gauge ( Including Big 3 Upgrade )

Batteries: (3) EverStart Maxx's ( 750 CCA ) 1 In Front & 2 In Back

  • 1 month later...

This is my daily DRIVER... what point dont you get on that??? - I use this car to make runs! * here, there, a far *

... And if that's what you would do, then so be it - my clientel runs far. even though I hate when people turn around, I know as soon as they walk out - someone else is coming. ( but that rarely is the case ).

... I have a Tahoe, I have a Chevy Caprice, a Oldsmobile Delta 88, Oldsmobile Holiday 88 ( Couple Version - new project )...

I'm have my " Big Boys Toys " - this is just what I drive & I want to be loud in while doing it.

I honestly don't see how that's bullshit... faceplates aren't nothing be cover ups ANYWAY!

... Thanks for the helpful advice - I will look into that battery box ( me building one ) - I'm already pushing for space as is - but i'll make something happen...

Yea right! Your a joke dude. Why lie? O and by clientel you mean craigslist suckers. No one asked you what you claim to own! Why do you feel the need to try and make your self out to be the big man on the block? Are you sure your not a kid? Your acting like it

and see more excuses. It looks like shit. you asked for everyones thoughts. youre getting them. LEts see these other rides of yours with the show quality installs.

He can't and if he does there not his.!! You would think the Tahoe with all those wetcell batteries. And sundown amps with I think it was 4 w7? Would shit on those optidrive subs. So why is that not your daily driver? Why is does your YouTube channel only have the Nissan's system? I would be way proud to be showing it off and rolling in it to comps? Make absolutely no sence. But your the shit and your rides and systems are the best bro nice job? O and is that system in the Tahoe still for sale? Or the did the real owner sell it yet? Lol your not the only one with internet access dude.

okay you will be fine with two motorcycle batteries in your car, your not going to get poisoned from using them. Its just a urban legend that if you have a batt thats not sealed in your trunk/cabin. It will kill you!

WRONG: The only thing that vents of batteries is hydrogen(and maybe tiny traces of other elements), so unless you discharge/recharge your batteries thousands of times and never open your car door and you somehow happen to light a match in your car, then yes their might be an explosion. But that is highly unlikely since most cars have vents ect in the cabin. So you will be fine running those batteries in your cabin. you DO need to look out for those batteries spilling acid though, so go to walmart and buy a battery box or make some sort of enclosure so they cant fall over.

You can go buy a 200+ dollar battery if your want to, they are nice batteries. But you can do the same thing with motorcycle batteries for wayy less.

... That's EXACTLY what I figured!

really?

at work we have big batteries that have to be charged daily and just being in the area where the chargers prove to me that its not safe to run them, bad battery smell acid dripping everywhere the concrete is all rotted and you say its safe. lol sorry i have to laugh at what you have to say

WRONG: The only thing that vents of batteries is hydrogen(and maybe tiny traces of other elements), so unless you discharge/recharge your batteries

how stupid is this, this battery is getting into good use with a high current amp of coarse its discharging and recharging constantly and releasing its gases

I thought you were meaning the trunk itself...

... Well if that's the case, yes - I have a stock trunk...

I know I could hit 150 easily if I were to face everything towards the cabin and seal it all off with the same setup I have now * Adding the 150A alt... *

... I already have the box plans for that...

This is a 2-pc Enclosure... Tuned to 33Hz

2piece-blowthrough-connected.jpg

This is the front piece ( that goes in between the rear struts:

2piece-blowthrough-piece1back.jpg

This is the rear piece that's the MAXIMUM dimensions for my trunk ( the dimensions of the sub enclosure I have now... 38" wide x 14.5" high x 25.75" deep:

2piece-blowthrough-piece2.jpg

Just another look:

2piece-blowthrough-connected3.jpg

by changing the box like that you are messing with the box tuning? what is the box tuned to now and what will it be tuned to after you do it, i suggest making a new box

I know of a few guys doin 150s out of the trunk. There aren't any of them that are useing less than 4k watts to 12s or 15"s. I've done plenty of trunk builds and I do have a term lab. It is very difficult to hit the 150 mark on anything less than 3k watts. I bet if you took your time and listened to what people are trying to tell you on this forum you would learn something and get way higher that the actual 143db you might be doing, Theres nothing wrong with being proud of your work, but when you post pics like the above ones to people on a site with great talent and obviously care more than you do. you should expect ALOT more critisisam then what you are getting. Go on the members builds page and look around a while. I run a small Part time audio shop and I would never let work like yours leave my stall. Even my "daily driver" is cleaner than anything you posted. I hope you wise up and take this as a learing experience. because this forum is one of the best places to gain knowlege. That is unless YOU already know everything. Okay I'm done.
