skyhighcaraudio Posted July 23, 2013 Author Report Posted July 23, 2013 ok so i got irritated with the gmc this last week lol too much stuff has been added over the years and since the consoles never been out since it went in it got haggard with all the wiring for the door poppers and window switches getting moved haha so all that shit is getting redone along with the amps getting moved to the bed. no matter what i do to the drivers side of the box i can't get it to stop flexing so amps are not going to go there anymore. and ill build the steal up on that side until it stops flexing lol lots of rewiring to do here in the next few weeks, gotta get a lot done before the show in oregon at the end of august lol getting to work early and staying late to keep the packages leaving same day and still getting something done on the truck. there will be a lot of other things i need to add to the truck once its back from the show but for now the stereo is priority. this amp rack was a nightmare lol you can see ive changed it multiple times and im sure itll change again before its all over with. Adding 4 xs power d1400s to the bed as a distribution block from the wire that runs to the amp now then ill make 2/0 outputs from those bars to the amps in the bed. then also adding 4 xs950s to the bed to have a 2 volt side of the truck. which will be nice cause the 360.3 doesnt like anything over 15.3 lol so that had to get fixed so i can charge up in the 17s. so heres some pics of what its looking like now. 49s anyone? lol 175.4s on top? didnt like it in front? nop lol thats better lol wiring disaster i was referring to: gonna make some things a bit stronger lol its permanent now: lol im still figuring out how to weld haha dont judge swing thing little guy around today. i guess thats why we use the terminals we do! skyhighcaraudio Posted July 23, 2013 Author Report Posted July 23, 2013 as a side note before it came apart did a 59.6 sealed on the dash at 44 hz with 3 9ks. does a 161.6 on the dash door open at 47 hz. i dont test in the kick so idk what that is. we will see what happens when its back together this time. after the oregon show the angle wall if going to come out of the box and imma start over on that part because the lvl 6s dont really fit as well as the xls did haha to say the least. i think there is a ton of number there.
