Watch the bass Posted December 17, 2011 Report Posted December 17, 2011 Hi last night i found at E-bay a class G/H monoamp from a brand called Vibe, they have this and a smaller 1500 watt modell in the G/H technology. You can read what they say about G/H technology, is that true, anyone with some experience with class G/H technology here? The prices are ok for Europe, smaller ones 400 € (RF 1500 BD is the double in new here). smaller model, deep space bass. In the E-bay offer they state that the amps are build to produce most power at 2 Ohms. The specs for the smaller ones are 750@4Ohm, 1500@2Ohm, 1350@1Ohm. You have to wire it down to 1 ohm to get maximum power, because a subwoofer doesn't see the nominal load of 1 ohm that much, once the cone starts moving the impedance rises. Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for.

Yes, German E-bay-seller stat that they build to put out maximum at 2 Ohm´s.
