maybe there should be two separate classes for SOTM.

But I wouldn't change anything about it. They do the best job possible, IMO.

I just feel good to be able to compete against such builds.

But Owners1 won this fair and square, the people have spoken.

i dont want to sound bitter or like a loser but i agree with this, still with that said congrats to Owners1 on his victory and congrats to every one else that was nominated in this months SOTM.

hopefully the tradition will continue in 2012 and hopefully we will see some new categories and things will get mixed up in interesting ways

ONly drawback is this; there was a month for the little guys, 1000 watts and under, right? Not many nom's and only a few builds were clean. Just because you're not on a competitors level doesn't mean you shouldn't have pride in cleaning up what you do have.

All that said, early congrats to Owners. The Hummer is beast.

to me it kinda seems like months like this where its a full system it should be open to people that don't have a full system or things like that. but on the other hand the guys with the big all out systems might use the system in a wife's car or daily driver, or they might give it away, so its a hard call and you cant please every body with what you decide on

well everyone has their opinion and that's why you have the opportunity to vote on the car of your choice for the SOTM. However, I do agree in some level on what you are saying but the prize pool would be pretty diluted if that were the case. Not to mention, it isn't always a competitor car or show car that wins either.

Honestly, you did great this month in terms of the amount of votes received. If you enter again next month, its almost a certain victory for you in my opinion.

Thanks bro, its also a beast to upkeep. lol! I do agree with what you're saying though about cleaning everything up. Personally, I feel like mine needs to be cleaned up way more.

What is a "competitorcar" or "showcar"?

Just put some effort in it, and you will be able to build your very own badass install!

For example, my Trabi was completely build from scratch within 3 months! Done by 3 average guys with normal jobs (not related to car audio) in the evening hours.

So, stop moaning and put your energy in your build!

Maybe you will win next SOTM!
