TylerParrish
I'm not trying to make this a versus thread, but I've heard a lot of good things about both the skar vvx 12s and sundown sa-12s. Can anyone possibly explain to me how they generally compare to eachother? speedball1978
This post will likely get locked skar have a lower fs than sundown but sundown can handle more power if u know you're doing. But both subs will do fine for you as they are both killer subs. Edited December 26, 2011 by speedball1978

TylerParrish
Haa. Welll I just ordered am saz-1500 that should be here in about a week. Would the sa-12s or the skar 12s be able to handle all 1500? Idk if it'll be putting that out with stock electrical with big 3 in 1/0 gauge and wired at 1 ohm before box rise, but it'll still be putting out a lottt of power. bdog
the saz-1500d puts out close to 1900 rms so keep that in mind. i have run the sa-12's on 600 wrms each in my gf's ride and they sound great on highs and lows 2cf per sub tuned to 31 she was blowing w7,s before and since she moved to sundown no problems what so ever!!
