well i have worked out the figures, and it looks like i have $150 to spend on car audio.

i already have 2 skar 12"s in a box with a BRZ1200 wired 1 ohm with 4 gauge wire.

what i dont have is..

H/O Alt

Upgraded Batt

Sound Deadener

1/0

Head Unit

i wont be buying anything for a front stage just yet, so no tweeters, mids, etc.

there are minimal rattles at max volume (and by minimal i mean they dont bother me)

EDIT: i realize some of the stuff i posted is out of the price range, but i will save up to get them.

My first choice was 20 sq ft of alpha damp by Second Skin, but what do you guys think?

Well I guess if you don't have a headunit. That might be a good idea.

i have a line level converter on the stock radio, but i have been seriously considering a HU for better eq controls over my equipment.

Headunit then quality fronts, looking at the amp you have with quality wiring you should be fine without a HO alt for quite some time. that 500 plus on an alt would pay for a pretty nice HU and maybe even some other items that you do need.

x2, alot of people do it diffrent, but i cant stand having a stock h/u then an amp and some subs, i go....h/u>speakers>4channel>sub amp>subs>alt>batts

Legal TL scores145.6 on the dash sealed up in the low 40hz area with the port out145.5 on the dash sealed up @30hz with the port inless then 1k clamped on a 3.5k!

Why would you EVER WANT flex?
huh?...flex is what can make the lows lower and more air being pushed correct?

alright, HU it is then. to avoid this turning into a VS thread, is there someone i could message about a single din?

my reasoning for single din is that i never liked double din or a touch screen really.. while im driving i rather have a knob to twirl than a series of menus to navigate.
