Single SA-12 Encloser

Why hello everybody! I was wondering if anyone had the time to make me a simple box design / enclosure for a single Sundown SA-12 D4. It's gonna be ran off an AQ1200D. Eventually the other 12 will come into play. Just a simple box, nothing complicated or fancy. Just want it to sound loud and be easy enough where I can make it with home tools and some MDF from the store. Sooo.. Yeah if anyone has the time, that would be great. I have no idea how to do them and that's why I'm asking. Well thanks!

I'm going to purchase the kits off of KnuKonceptx and I was just wondering which I should buy. Eventually, I'm going to get another SA-12 and hook it up to the same aq1200D

I believe the AQ1200 has 4ga. inputs, that'll be plenty.

If it was me I'd build a 2 cube box tuned to 33Hz

16 tall x 24 wide x 18 deep with a L port, 14.5 tall x 2.5 wide x 38 long

im going to be building one soon. im doing closer to 2 cuft.. im using a 4" aero port tho at 33 hz.. im gunna be running my aq1200 at 1 ohm on one of them. good luck to you

i used 2.2cf before displacement on 600watts and couldn't be happier tuned to 31

Enclosure Suggestions:

1.75 ft^3 ported tuned to 30 Hz -- F3 of 26 Hz

* Tune higher and use a smaller box for more SPL oriented setup (Use 1 - 1.5 cubes)

* Enclosure can be as big as 2.25 ft^3 with lower power levels

1.00 ft^3 sealed -- F3 of 44 Hz

* For SQ and space limited applications

* All Dimensions in Inches.

* Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts.

External Enclosure Parts:

Front = 30 5/8 x 13 1/2

Back = 33 3/8 x 13 1/2

Left & Right Sides:

Side 1 = 11 1/4 x 13 1/2

Side 2 = 10 1/2 x 13 1/2

Top & Bottom = 33 3/8 x 12

L Port Internal Assembly Parts:

Front to Back = 8 1/2 x 13 1/2

Extension = 23 1/4 x 13 1/2
