Bump4life
honestly regardless of how well you did big3 which sounds like you should be good, 350rms should not dimm lights unless your car is old as f**k and has like a 60 A alt or even less. sounds like a diff problem to me Quote Buyer/Seller Feedback Thread: http://www.stevemead...5015-bump4life/ MB C220 153 Trunk Car Build Log: http://www.stevemead...d/#entry1840136 MB C280 Ipad Dash SQ Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/194484-bump4lifes-new-benz-tony-c-relay-kit-pictures-ce-electric-audison-front-stage-installed/ My SPL Log: http://www.stevemead...__fromsearch__1 BMW M340 xDrive Stock, for now. 14dbass
If your alternator is not putting enough amps then adding a 1/0awg to it is not going to do anything. Sounds like either your battery is bad or your alternator is. A stock alternator should be able to put out enough amps for that amp with out the big 3 and with no voltage drop. Kranny
if you have spare wire, i would try putting a run from the battery to the fuse box. it couldnt hurt

dfoland93
How much is the big 3? Does it depend on your car and what gauge wire you use? Quote The spot with least resistance LOL. I would ground to a rubber dildo if it had less resistance than a run of 4/0 wiring. how many poeple work there 3 or 4 lol At crescendo HQ? probably 2-3 At the sweatshop in china? 30,000 children No Engine
JWBryant
Depending on the wire.. Cost me 100 bucks at a local store and a little work , you might find a deal somewhere if you look. Quote Basshead-in-Training
soundstream15
if i were you i would go to advanced auto and have them test your alt and battery, its free and if there both fine then u had to wire something wrong, cuz ur stock electrical should handle that with zero voltage loss, how did you do your big 3, maybe your ground are wrong, what i would do if anything is run 1/0g from your alt bracket[what holds the alt in place] and ground it to frame, hope im any help man
sprkn_ranger
If its only happening at idle, then either your alt is bad, battery is bad, or you have a bad ground somewhere. That size amp shouldn't cause dimming. JWBryant
Think I might have to get the alt tested. It doesnt happen whe ln Im driving but the volt drop was from 14.4-13 or lower, on consistant bass. I actually have other problems with my truck, it might be related.. It takes 3-4 seconds to start but is very reliable, and also It tends to not Idle when I'm driving It runs perfectly except for these things. When I drive Im Finding myself putting it in neutral to keep it going, also it usually dies smoothly Quote Basshead-in-Training
