SoCaLBaMF Posted July 6, 2012 Author Report Posted July 6, 2012 i used evercoat lightweight filler on mine. was under 20 dollars a gallon. sanded very easily. ends up with more pinholes than rage but still much much much easier to use than bondo brand. not counting vinyl, i spent about 5-6 hours doing mine. i hate bondo brand anything. prefer 3m resin over bondo resin by far. Where did you get it? I saw Rob used some on his box when we were sanding it... You're gonna need a fuckload of batts. I'm tuned in. How do you think it'll compare, the Level 5's and 44kw vs 6's and 30+? Ill have 15 total in the back when its all finished. D3100s of course.... SoCaLBaMF Posted September 22, 2012 Author Report Posted September 22, 2012 Sorry for the lack of updates, Ive had some majorrrr issues with the baffle cosmetically and structurally. This wall had some issues that many people do not know about, and almost made me rip the baffle out completely and start over. BUT Im trying to fix it so it is bullet proof. As for woofers, I took them out and almost have them all sold to get some nice new Level 6 beastsss. Also the 7.5 will be sold to upgrade to (2) 10ks.. I keep changing my damn mind. Door panels will also be re done since they suck. lol... gonna re do them for (2) 6.5s and a super tweet in each door along with a 6.5" in the kick and super tweet in the a pillars. But heres some of todays work since I have been at school with no tools, or a place to work. Besides Yueys from time to time lol... Put all thread through the center to keep from the baffle moving which was causing cracking in the baffle itself and cosmetic fiberglass. Also fixed a piece of fiberglass that ripped when taking the woofers out. Sorry for updates, I haz money now so 10ks and level 6s will be in order soon!
