SoCaLBaMF Posted September 23, 2012 Author Report Posted September 23, 2012 So what exactly was going on with he wall? Just bad structural integrity or what? Yeah the whole thing was ripping apart. The whole baffle was flexing a half an inch at least. Cracking in the fiberglass was occuring all around the port, and the bottom of the port. See.... what people don't know was the top of the port was made of foam, and body filller. When the port started to flex... the foam and body filler started to crack, the whole baffle started to flex and crack. Which almost seemed to me the whole baffle needed to be replaced..... which it did..... but I decided to reinforce the whole thing to be bullet proof. They werent really working out like I hoped, and I think theres too many speakers now that I got them done. Need to work on fiberglassing..... lol. She really is a looker! Havent gotten that far yet.... and after I get it all braced to where it wont crack anymore, gonna shoot it with some high gloss white paint and clear coat. Should be sexy. Then stripper pole, custom center console, and mdf/ fiberglass roof. 10ks will make this thing scream.
