A 5k is perect for a pair of M1 XLs IMO Exactly. This build has a shit ton of power. It also has limited power supply as well as air space. All told, these amps will be chilling with plenty headroom to spare. This isn't a drop in and bang full tilt system. like any race car ya gotta know how to drive it. Mario played that fine line dumping well over 2x the power to his Solo 10's. this ain't his 1st rodeo Designing, building, and shipping boxes. Yahoo IM - kingsuv00If the listening level is too loud, please inform the driver, so he can promptly pull over, and let you out. not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.

kingsuv
So when you stuff 10lbs of shit in a 1lb bag, you start with what you must have and work your way back. In this case we started with the amps and amp rack. Once we knew what room that was going to take up, I was able to move forward with a box. Pretty much takes up the whole trunk. I want the box to the rear of the car as I can. The shell of the box goes all the way up the the seat back brace. The way I build in a trunk is with cleats. I start by pre-drilling them so I dont have too inside the trunk. Make sure you wipe down both parts with a damp cloth before you add the glue. It also helps to offset the screws when you secure the cleat to the side wall Once you have everything mocked up, I will add glue under the side as well as the cleat before I screw it down Little test fit. I'll grab more wood tomorrow so I can do the top as well as the baffles and port. Designing, building, and shipping boxes.
