But the wire itself isn't that strong. Gauge is fine you just need to find some good wire I found a seller on eBay and I really like the wire I buy 16 gauge from him and you can pull on that for day's. Realistically, it would probably be better than all the speaker wire you have in your car now. I used about 100 feet on the last boat I did. The biggest problem I had with it is that both wires are identical in shape and the cadence writting rubs off the wire easilly. Not to mention on the positive side, theres only like one + every two feet. Meaning finding your negative and positive ends takes a little more work than it should. I did some pulling with the cadence wire and never broke a piece.
