All you do is add more confusion than started with yes i do. he is asking if a pair of SA12s can handle 2500rms. yes they can. ive seen it done. ive seen a pair of SA12s on a Sundown 3500 running at .5ohm daily with no problems. i dont suggest it, im just saying it will handle it if done right.

I pound music very hard continuosly daily when i ride places on all of my past setups and on subs for example like kicker cvx, skars, i always comment on what my experience with them are since i abuse the stuff for a long time and TRUE daily. All of my setups i keep for a minimum 1 year unless its equipment i already know about previously. timma100 Posted January 8, 2012 Report Posted January 8, 2012 The SAZ-1500D is a good amp for a pair of SA-12's. Puts out about 1800RMS with good electrical. The subs are underrated, going beyond 1K rms each is a little high, but if you don't drive them 100% 24/7 you should be okay.. You should consider an SPL re-cone from sundown, the aluminum coil they use would be perfect for your setup. IIRC the name is SA-12X cones, my pair have these cones.
