varietyguy Posted January 29, 2012 Report Posted January 29, 2012 I absolutely love going to pawn shops. But you have to literally profile the shop first. The mainstream shops like EZ Pawn are great because they get some good high end quality, but their prices match it. I like going to the "old timers" family owned shops because they don't like car audio or don't know the value of it. I will never forget the rockford BD1000 I paid $20 for in working condition. Downfall of those shops is they don't like updating prices, so that nice 200 lb sony flatscreen from 1999 still has a $1000 price tag on it.
