zakmmm Posted January 25, 2012 Report Posted January 25, 2012 Ok so I bought a new ride and added to the system but it is not hitting like it should. Here is a list of components- Amp- AQ3500 Subs- 3 HDC310's 4 kynetik batt's 2 runs of 0gauge + and - Duel alts- OEM 145amp and DC Power XS 270 Box - 5cf after port size and speaker displacement tuned at about 40hz (Custom mid-gate box) So with all that said I had two of the 10's in a 2004 Tahoe with the same setup and was hitting 147.9db on the termlab with 3.5cf of air space I moved it all to a 2008 Avalanche ran extra wire and added the extra sub and it hits pretty good but nothing like the Tahoe was. I thought it might be the break-in on the new sub but it has been a month of hard playing so I don't think that is the problem. Also If I ride with the seat down it allows the air to move more freely through the truck but it still is not where it should be with the set-up I have. That brings up another topic - I was trying to think how I convert the air to flow better to the front of the truck with the seats up I have been thinking of something to force it under the seat. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

But you might have wired the 3rd sub wrong, are they in phase? Just one of many things it could be.
