John C Leonard
I have a 2007 chevy impala ss that I just recently went to do the big 3 on and noticed my power wire from my alt went to the bottom right side of my engine somewhere then back up to my battery so I figured I would just run it direct to the battery anyway and I can drive my car around for about 20 to 30 minutes then my dash lights up saying "battery saver active" like it does right before my battery usually dies but I can shut my car off and it starts right back up anyone have any ideas of what is going on, I was thinking it goes through a regulator or something
MattyMattOne
I have a '94 Mazda B2300(Ford Ranger copy). My alternator positive runs to the starter solenoid. My question is, adding a run from the alternator straight to the battery is ok? I swear that shit shot out into the parking lot too. Very dangerous, but fun. 94' Mazda B2300. Logic Soundlab 1000.2 amp pushing a DD 1010(1.56ft^ft@37hz). KnuKoncepts wiring. Pioneer headunit. Homemade C.A.I. Cat delete. N1 muffler.
Bryan Wisniewski
Yes running a pos to alt will be ok. You sure it's just not factory ran together to make it take up less room? My escape was done that way but had a single wire just for alt.
