How does it feel knowing you will never go anywhere in life? Lol. Really? xD U mad, bro? =D In reality, you're like an old punching bag, you can take a few good hits...but you'll eventually you'll fall down. To answer your question if I would say "Fuck you" if I stood in front of you: Yes I would. =) and I'm saying it again, Fuck you, sir. New build coming soon. 99fullsizechevy
What a useless thread..... Mr 450... U are an idiot, I'm sorry to be the one to inform you of this but u are misinformed.. Either that or someone is telling you the wrong facts.. Op boost on a stock 305 is pointless It's like saying your going to run a single kicker comp 12 on a dc 7.5k yea with it turned down it may work for a little while.. But it's going to blow and be completely a waste of money.. Thread needs locked before anyone else gets but hurt because they are behind the learnin curve... Laying frame soon.. System has to wait
EricM9104
Turbo (generally a T3 or T3/T4 will do) Wastegate (Internal or external) Manifold Turbo downpipe Flange Bolts for turbo and downpipe flange Downpipe Braided oil lines with fittings 2.5" Pipe for charge pipes Connectors and clamps for pipes BOV and flange (Again DSM would be cheap ~$50, will hold 19psi with the top crushed) FMU (I'd go cartech adjustable personally) go with an SAFC 2 Bigger Injectors Bigger Injectors (DSM450's would be an excellent idea) Inline/In tank pump Boost controller (I'd go Greddy Profec) MSD-DIS 2this should read MSD BTM TB Plenum Lots of misc vaccum hose Rubber Fuel lines for FPR Oil and oil filter (for the obvious reason) Gaskets Gasket sealer Air filter Intercooler (optional, but worth it) Some spare metal brackets for custom mounting the Intercooler Misc bolts (self tapping), and Nut/bolt combos Gauge pod Boost Gauge, EGT gauge (optional but smart to have one) (If you have a profec boost controller the boost gauge is unnecessary as its built in) , Heres your list Greddy units are junk. Don't forget a wideband controller, AEM UEGO is the best one to get right now. @ the OP. You don't need a damn twin turbo when you're 16. Audio-Concepts
@OP As someone who has turbo'd cars. I would recommend NOT putting any money into that 305, you may as well just buy another small block. Those old tuned port engines are worthless for making fast. I would say go buy a 6.0L iron block Silverado motor, build the internals, and do a single turbo setup. You can easily make plenty of power to cruise and be streetable and still race at the track on weekends. These over the counter "ebay" turbo kits are horrid, the best way to put a turbo on any car is buy the turbo, wastegate, intercooler, piping etc. and build your own. I had a twin turbo kit on my notchback mustang, nothing fit, I had to refab pieces, buy stuff not in the kit that was required, plus tuning twins is a pain. I then had a engine build me a LSX408 small block and put a single 91mm, all custom piping and computer. And yes it was drivable running 8.30's @ 160+ mph And it was plated (license bureau) Pioneer AVH480 Zapco ST5XII amplifier Stevens Audio 6.5" components (passive) Onyx Subwoofer Sky High OFC wiring
ZachAdams
^ not true, low boost/stock engine setups are common. same as supercharging a stock ls1 4.6 ect.. boost is boost and any internal combustion engine can be boosted its all a question to what extent. itd be a waste of money to buy a dual turbo and only use 15lbs of boost. im pretty sure most stock head bolts cant handle much over 20lbs. you can buy single turbos that are just as good and can put out 20lbs. just my opinion. im not the most educated when it comes to boosting a vehicle. but i just think unless your planning on making 500hp gains why buy a twin turbo set up first off it would be more along the lines of 4-6psi tops not 15 and from expirience it will be the headgasket to go first. only reason i chimed in is because i OWN a turbo car that I built also own a bolt on z28 on spray. but im starting up my roflcopter have fun with this thread and to the op if u are really wanting to go fast and need some input pm me i will be more than glad to help the best i can. -Zach- '88 K5 - '01 cbr929rr
