Reg_Cab_Slammer
What do yall think? I have the room for ported, but would it really make that much of a difference in a reg cab? Other than what is it like 3 or 4 db's? Thanks, Colby Quote 2001 Dodge Ram Kenwood Deck Pioneer speakers
BassJunkie
If you have room for a proper ported box then thats what I recommend. I think you would be alot more happy with its output. SnowDrifter
I say ported. Just personal preference for the sound - flatter response and higher output Quote ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
roscoe1129
what I did with my reg cab ram was make a sealed enclosure to spec then stuffed it as full of polyfill as possible just to enrich the sound and help it play just a little deeper. just another option for ya. pa-pa-platypus
aeroports are your friend in a regular cab set up.. think of them as a viable option... have the port loading on the passenger said against the wall.. ive had good success with that setup Quote This isn't teeball. 412 CVX
32-35 should be good. reg cabs can be tricky though keep the volume right, that's the important thing.
