Because of course I wasn't feeding a pair of 3s almost 3,700 clamped each daily. Played with one HDC4, didn't like it, but it took the T4000 at .5 ohm nominal never clamped the setup so can't say. Have you played with the HDC4? Didn't think so. Dont mean to spam the DC section with AQ, just figured I'd answer a question. Ok so it took 4k, now double that and see what happens. There are very few subs that can take a true 5000w much less 7500w and how many of those are 12s? There is a reason that subs like the smd are not offered in a 12" version as a normal production item. But I'd bet if Steve asked ascendant to build him one just to play with, they probably would. Orion, If you want to try the level 6 1 more time, I would try the at cone if it wasn't built with it before and also I would have rusty send you the cone before he builds the recone and put a coat of resin on the back side of the cone.

Most companies offer recones more as a service and not as a highly profitable part of the business.
