I intend to purchase one, just for the enjoyment of taking it out to shoot every once in a while, either at a shooting range or on my friends land. Where I will be living there isn't really a need to carry one around town. So is that weird, is it common to own one and not carry it with you? So i do. ive seen enough foul stuff to realize that there may be a situation in life that I may need it and if something happened to my wife or daughter because i didnt I would be crushed.
