some people can and others can't. But even on low notes you should get some type of sensation in your ears...maybe just pressure.

I have hearing aids, when my subs hit below 20hz, no one in my car can hear the bass, but my hearing aids will squeak. All we feel is the bass. I think the 20hz is the cause.

But what DJCrush said could be true as well.
