severancej
Are these new bdcp amps able to be ran below one ohm daily driving? For burps? I recently upgraded my big three with 2 gauge and am wanting something deeper and louder than my mtx jh5512x2 enclosure. I'm interested in Fi Q or ascendant audio chaos but can't decide between dual one or dual two ohm coils. I would like to maximize my output because the birthsheet rated it at 817w @ 1 ohm which should be about enough to power either. 98' dodge ram 140A alt Big 3 XS D2700 JVC kd-r310 Rockford T500-1BDCP 2 Sundown E12 Ported 4cubes 35hz Rockford P400-4 2 Infinity reference 3way 6x9 2 Polk DB 5 1/4 2x layer dynamat all doors

Slapuhho
Why not .5 ohms Why not .5 ohms because it's a good amp, it doesn't need to be below 1 ohm to actually put out good power.. 4 18's, low power and lots of gay fur. severancej
The cp amps don't make the same across all loads they just make rated power across 2 and 1 ohms in my case 500 but actual power is 483@ 4 608@2 817@1 and ???@ .5 I'm hoping someone whom has tried this will shed some light I would think rockford quality components in their power series amps would easily handle the low impedance 98' dodge ram 140A alt Big 3 XS D2700 JVC kd-r310 Rockford T500-1BDCP 2 Sundown E12 Ported 4cubes 35hz Rockford P400-4 2 Infinity reference 3way 6x9 2 Polk DB 5 1/4 2x layer dynamat all doors
n8ball2013
if you want deeper and louder get more power and better subs. its rated at 1 ohm. its designed for that.
