LT.Smoke
So as of the last 2 weeks my temp gauge seems to be fluctuating. It goes from the normal temperature to 1 line above where it usually rests.... I checked the coolant level after the car cooled off and it seems to be at normal level... Anyone have any idea what else could cause the temperature to go up and down? Trips that long are no good on any car, did you have it serviced prior to the trip? finkster
it's more likely the thermostat than the temp gauge. like billy said. Mine used to go a bit above normal than finally open and go back down to normal. good news is it's only a couple dollar fix.
