The 10" SSA Icon has recently caught my interest, and I'd like to know about it more. Overall, how is this subwoofer in terms of parts and design? Also, how is the manufacturer in terms of customer support?

If I get the pair of tens, then theyll be ran at 1 ohm on a Sundown 3k. This will be a mainly daily setup, and will play mostly the Hip Hop, Rap, and R&B thats on the radio. Ill go to car shows every couple of months to compete, but SPL < Music to me.

Does anybody have experience with the Icon? What are your thoughts?

Aren't SSA subs completely American made? They look to be of pretty good quality.

I dont mind if people talk badly about the company or sub as long as they have personal experience and/or legitimate information.

With that being said, I dont want a straight up pissing match :)

They are made in USA using USA parts and great drivers all around!! Fi manufacters them if that tells you anything.

I knew that Fi and SSA were affiliated.. I just didnt know how. Thanks!

When you buy an ssa sub, you not only get outstanding build quality, but outstanding sound!!!!! The icon is sorta like the the all around daily sub, it takes a beating and sounds excellent. And they just revised the motors and soft parts for better cooling and higher power handling.
