"Rattle" involves two objects.

One or both move and they contact each other making noise.

Solution #1 Push them apart. ex: Expanding foam

Solution #2 Push them together ex: when you sit on the trunk the noise goes down. You are pushing the skin against the subframe

Solution #3 Wrap the damn thing in several layers of deadener so nothing gets to the subframe or skin haha

That sucks the guy at my local audio shop has it on the roof and sides of his walled civic with 6 9512's,7.5k watts its been holding steady for him.You think there could have been some unknown variable that caused your problem...

That's the thing about FatMat, sometimes it holds for years without issue, sometimes not... just depends on what/where/who/and how it's installed....

LOL where are them pics from!?!?where are they living that it gets hot enough to melt the adhesive like that.does dynomat or CLD have tar for adhesive also or do they use something else..

Last pic, I believe New York...

The difference between Dynamat, SDS CLD Tiles, Damplifier, and other higher quality products is that they are made with 100% butyl as the adhesive. Not a mix of rubber/tar/asphalt/bitumen.
