As was told multiple times, HO alt with some good agm batts and a lot of 0 gauge wire. Whats so hard about that? Guest Posted March 9, 2012 Report Share Posted March 9, 2012 there isnt a way to boost your voltage in your case. yeah you can go ahead and spend $100+ for a new regulator module, but whats the fucking point if your alt cant output the current anyways? voltage will still drop to 12 or whatever you're dropping to now. there's no other way around a HO alt. stop it. there is something fucked up in your car. like relyks said, it could be a bad part in your alt, causing it to output like 1/3 or 2/3 of its rated power. or it could be a bad/old battery. or some loose wiring. this thread fucking fails. i dont know why its still open. OP doesnt even seem interested in figuring out his problem anymore since he's so happy with his 300 posts worth of shit. the big 3 should be the first thing on your list. you're pulling over 100 amps through some piece of shit stock 8 gauge on the alt. think about that.
