kingsuv Posted March 8, 2012 Report Share Posted March 8, 2012 just so everyone thinks about it this rule doesnt just go for grinders.. table saws, circular saws, any tool that has the potential of grabbing ur clothes its a good idea to things tightened up... i learned this the hard way on a circular luckily only lost a hoodie string over but coulda been alot worse...glad your ok bro Quoted for emphasis. You got lucky bro. And I hope to hell everyone keeps this in mind when working with tools. Any loose clothing is a big no no in the shop. Most of us ( even myself) can be lax with this now and then. Glad your ok ya just got careless one day wasnt paying attention... i work construction during the summer so i literally have no excuse.. now all my jackets i wear to work in dont have the strings and are tight fitting as i can stand.. This isn't teeball. YOU DO NOT GET A TROPHY JUST BECAUSE YOU SHOW UP. Worse I've done is nail my finger to a box, and doing a circle with a jasper and router and it it got caught spinning like crazy. I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
