2010 Mustang GT Walled; It Was Fun, Time to go Fast

It's all good. I did, too.

So, it turns out attaching the port to the top is not a one-man job. Its just way too awkward, 34.5"x17.5" mdf is a bit heavy to hold in place while trying to center the screws in the brackets.

I just read through this, and I have to say your guy does nice work, and that stang is bad a**

My guy? Which one? LOL

I do a lot of the work myself, but there are a few guys that have helped me out big time. Blue, sprkn_ranger, AI Ray, Tim at Audiotistics, and baron_of_bass have all done a ton for me.

And thanks.

nothing bad scooter, dont worry.

he had to sell it to pay for bills.

shit happens :/

he said it went to a good home though.

Whew! I thought there was something wrong with it! I can totally relate to the paying bills thing! One of the reasons I let it go in the first place. I paid half a credit card off with it. Now i'm paid off and buying equipment without using cards. I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND!!! I was just panicking that something actually went wrong with it! Whew!!

I wouldn't have had to flip it if the damn VA would send my checks on time. I had it all figured out and they fucked it up. Going in another Hertz/Audison vehicle though.

looking good man!

sexy port

Thank you, sir.

If you don't have anyone to help with holding the port, try taking a couple peices of scrap mdf you have and cut them to length so you can wedge it up in place long enough to get a couple screws in.

Port color looks real good!

Yeah, I actually found a 2x4 in my scrap pile that may be long enough to cut in half for two temp braces. It was over 90 inside the car today, so I wasn't very motivated anyway LOL.

Don't know why the port looks blemished in the second pic. Its not really like that.

Uh it's not a blemish it's your reflection. Looks good though.

its a 4th order just because its tuned in the 40z doesnt mean it wont reach down and jiggle your balls at sub 30 hz frequencies.

Regardless if they were dipped platinum and were stuffed in Beyonce's twat.....way too fucking exspensive

Build is coming along nicely man looks sweet! My gf has an 05 mustang and I always wondered how much you could fit in it, guess I know now. All you guys using aa, fi, sundown, DC, etc. I've always used Rockford and Boston acoustics, maybe I should try something new, I just hate to shy away from the shop I'm loyal to cause I've always bought my stuff from him and I've known him for a long time. Anyway, keeping a watch on this, do work :-P

Been good man. Been working a lot of opening shifts for the past few weeks. Not a lot of time to get anything done on my build. But if I can get this garage done I can do work at night in the garage with the door down. Also trying to get my car paid off in less than a year instead of 2. Going to have a tight budget for the next few months lol. I'm going to be down there next week at the TGIF for my coworkers 21st. Should come out, he is going into the army.
