The subs are D1(.7), so my starting ohm load is .7 at the amp. Have you ever thought about reconing to D2's and wiring to .5 nominal? That's retarted every time the subs stop between bass drops the amp will see it'd nominal starting ohm load with or without rise so if he wires to .35 ohms the amp will have problems Also ken what's this 149 stuff I saw a 152 Have you ever had your woofers blown?

I've been running my amps at .35 for years daily...I luckily rise to only 1ohm from .35 and get awesome power...ask AI Ray what he wires too...ken said his voltage hardly moves..which to me says he's not making that much power....just my opinion... ALPINE408 Posted May 20, 2012 Report Posted May 20, 2012 Yes problems some people get lucky and it takes a long time for those problems to show up but I willbput money on it one day the amps will fail Also ken you saw that 152 so when you demo windows down that's how loud it is just falls short sealed up Have you ever had your woofers blown?
