SP4 Box Design

I whipped up this box last night. What are your opinions on it, guys? It's for a Fi SP4 15, going into the trunk of my 05 Camry, and will go into the backseat of my friend's car for a while too.

Sub up not recommended in trunk vehicles.

The baffle thickness set to zero!!

if i remember correctly, the trunks of the camry's are HUGE. tall enough to not have to mount the sub facing up.

Move your sub to the other side away from the port if you stick with that design.

I measured, and it's just barely bigger than what my trunk can hold. Why is it bad to have the sub facing up? And why do I have to move the sub more to the right?

because when the sub is facing up, a lot of the energy the sub produced goes into flexing the trunk lid, rather than going into the cabin. which translates into your trunk rattles like crazy, and it's not as loud in the cabin.

and move the sub over to the right so it uses the whole box and doesn't just unload into the port.

Sub back or sub forward sealed off is almost always louder. I myself have experienced this. And anything said by SPL2K should be taken heavily and used.

Thanks for the points guys. I remeasured the trunk, and I'll redo the box for sub facing back, I have the height for it.

Here, guys. Is this fine? I know it lacks a few square inches in port area, but that should be fine, right?
