Now that I have the room and no subs to listen too, might be a good time to look are redoing some of my wiring while I save up for new subs.

Plan is to pick the batteries up from between the seat and cargo deck, up onto the cargo deck. So i need to build something to hold the batteries from sliding around, probably just some 1x2's or 2x3's and some brackets screwed into the cargo deck.

I need to find a rear ground. The equinox is a unibody so I think I can just take a DMM and measure resistance from my rear battery negative (which runs all the way forward), and check against some things like the seat brackets and see what will give me the lowest resistance. If I find a good place to do it without drilling a bunch of holes in he body or some shit, I'll tear out the runs from the front, use the new Sky High that's been sitting in the garage for a year to do 2+ runs from the front to the back, and re-use the black negative I have going to the front now for grounds in the back.

If I get all that done, then I can see what I have left for room and go from there as far as subs.

Found 2 spots under the cargo deck that read 0 on the DMM, gonna take another look around I think though as with these I need to punch a few holes in the plastic and then there's the plastic in the way of the bolt too. The seat belt gave me a low reading too, but not as low as I might like so I'll have to poke around some more and see if I can't find something better with less shit in the way.

Rough estimates on space, but I'm going to be trying for 3 10's. I'm thinking American Bass this time, 3 dual 2 XFL's so I can wire to 1.3 giving them about 1-1.3k/ea.

Depth is my unknown at the moment, will make changes as I go if necessary.

Picked up some wood to make a battery frame, and some 90o brackets to hold it onto the cargo deck. I am thinking I could use a wider board on the back side of the battery frame to hold the amp there instead of on the box, only thing is the amp will be upside down due to how the RCA's and remote are set up.

The box will be subs back port back so I can set stuff on top of it after it's finished, with the port on the passenger side so I can run the wire into the subs on the driver's side where the inputs on the amp are.

I just need to sell a couple things to get the rest of the cash to order subs, then get time to actually work on it. Need to also order a couple more fuse holders so I can run a 2nd positive up front once I move the grounds to the back and replace my current positive front run with the Sky high wire I have sitting in the garage.

God I needed to write this down so I can remember everything.
