john253a
a 4th order may work for you here's one i have in archives 1.1cuft sealed net (0.2 sub) 2.3 cuft ported 5.5x 5.5x 36.5"long (5" external) at 30hz if port is shortened flush with top of box = 33hz Edited April 8, 2012 by john253a
stroupe79
you got a car?..if so i would face sub and port forward into the cabin..and seal it off from the trunk...in most cases that is your best option in cars...I know it worked for me previously Quote http://www.stevemead...cherokee-build/ 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Alpine CDE-hd148bt Alpine PKG-RSE2 PRV Audio (4) 6MB200 front/rear doors PRV Audio (4) TW350Ti dash/rear doors Kicker KX350.4 Obsidian Audio (1) 18 D4 v2 revamp (2) Stereo Integrity HT 18d2DC Audio 1.2k5.25ft^3 tuned @34hz revamp Infinite Baffle Cpillar AudioTechnix 60mil deadenerKnuKonceptz & SkyHigh wire (complete setup)
RAM_Designs
Firing both forward or back is usually the fail-proof way to do it. With the 12" XXX, do something like 2.75-3ft^3 with an upper 20's tuning.
