I don't know if 90's are considered vintage but here's what I have (pictures suck)

My Kenwood KC-X1 6 channel Preamp

And the matching 50 pound beast, the Kenwood KM-X1 6 channel (not 5.1) Power amp. 100 watts rms at 6 ohms in 6 channel mode at 0.02% thd, 130 watts rms at 8 ohm in stereo mode at no more than 0.03% thd, 65 watts at .0015% thd on 1khz. Also has a sub channel to power passive subs. This thing screams clean power

Keep going , this is interesting ! Haha my first system was the mtx terminator 2 12's and terminator amp. It sure gave a bang for the buck! But it's long gone in the car accident I got into last June :(

So how you might want to get it working is first plug it in to see if it works,

If it doesn't work check if the fuse works.

If it does, your input will have to be an RCA. Chose the speaker that you want to use, find out its ohms, then set the ohm selector to the proper ohm(age) then set the 901 or other to other since you wont be using the Bose 901s.... that should work. I would recommend starting the volume at minimum and work your way up.

Im a broke student. still manage to have a pretty good system though.. (at least i think)

That is a pretty good system for your first one, better than mine.... i have two Pyle plw10lb ($30 each) both were free air into the trunk.

Are you OK from the car accident?

This is the most powerfull amp i have.

Vintage CLEAN power.

http://www.allegroso...nsui_B2101.html

260W at 8 ohms per channel (it's a 2channel.)

350W at 4 ohms per channel .

Both of those numbers with only 0.003% of THD.

These are some serious numbers.

You can go to 1% THD before the amps goes into protection mode, just before that point it makes about 320W at 8 ohms.

ANd yes you can bridge this beast.

All class A/B power.

Thinking is the root of all problems...

You ALWAYS get what you pay for.
