Too many people don't understand the concept of what a subsonic filter is..so we did a newer smaller diameter spider that mounts lower on the former and doesn't hit the tinsels. (the IB3 18 has been done like this for years and the people who run them are FAR more meticulous then the car audio crowd, they would be the first to complain if it were a problem)

Works fine, personally I prefer the external leads because it leaves more room for 'oops' factor.

:clapping: I love the Havoc cones w/ integrated inverted dustcaps :D

me too :D

oh and they will be ran with a Rockford T2500.1bd Cp - Mids/highs off of a T1000.4 AD (full range version of a CP) and tweets off of probably a punch 200 or something small that matches the others.

Everbody here know´s you stick with RF-Fosgate together. But i want to bring a other idea of amplication of this system

2 Vibe deep space bass class GH monoamps http://www.vibeaudio...ace-amplifiers/, in Gremany they retails for 520 $

for mid´s and high´s Tru technology Super Billet SB 8 http://www.trutechno...om/products.htm, here´s a offer for one of two

with the highest upgradekit.http://www.ebay.com/...984.m1438.l2649 stage 4.

question though, what's up with the leads? that doesn't look very healthy

Yeah looks like they'll be slapping around everywhere, stitching them to the spider yourself?

actually they wont do much slapping, if anything, to me they seem stretched out and could use some slack.

with 60mm of linear travel (30mm xmax) I think it could rip them and or cause slap. does it have the little cushions on the cone like some drivers do with leads like that?

other than that its a very good looking driver, the crinkle coat looks good and the blacked out plates. Looks like zcon with a bigger bumped bottom plate. What's a rough guesstimate on weight?

i will let the engineers at AA worry about if it is going to do damage or if it needs the little cushions. Oh, and sorry but the zcon looks like the Havoc not the other way around. :)

This new Havoc looks more like an Xcon than anything else. The Xcon has been out for years now so how can it look like the Havoc?

Even if this new Havoc did look like a Zcon, the Zcon has been out for over a year and the Havoc is just being released.

Either way, how a subwoofer looks has nothing to do with its performance. To lump two different subwoofers together because they look alike is idiotic.

You do realize fi/aa makes the parts for SSA so to say the havoc looks like any of their woofers is false. It should be the SSAs look like the havoc, and the havoc isn't a new sub. It's been around for a while
