ALPINE408 Posted April 23, 2012 Report Share Posted April 23, 2012 ok so he pmed me there dual 2's only 1500 rms each if that... being there dual 2's you would be better off running just 1 amp 1 ohm to each channel still 1500 rms per sub.. hopefully as for "steel bracing" all thread rods are cheap and work like a dream.. you already noticed a difference when moving the box back i would not go closer than 6 inchs to you back door Flared ports will give you a slight gain but a gain is a gain and they look better the closest you should go with the ports off your box wall is the size opening of your port so if you have a 6 inch port you need to stay a min of 6 inches away from the box wall if there 4 inch ports min of 4 inches and so on Have you ever had your woofers blown?
