SlamminBeats
so instead of glassing, which is way above my skill level right now, would it work if i just made cut outs like so in my door and screwed the speakers in? The mounting depth isnt and issue, i just want to know if this will work? 1- 6.5 Digital Designs VO 1- DD B1 Tweeter in each door^^ [img=http://i48.tinypic.com/4hoz0m.jpg] Edited April 29, 2012 by SlamminBeats

Sergeant_Skyrim
Also interested in mounting locations, looking to upgrade my mids/highs and not quite sure if they need "enclosures" like subs do Quote Build in progress

Yirgacheffe
Looks like your driveing SAAB, the door panels are quite stiff but I wouldn't recomend such an installation. You can use the SAAB's original place for midbass and place midrange/tweeter on your dashboard. It works fine for SQ and can be loud to if the installator is skilled! Quote Watts up? Yirgacheffe
from the looks of the pics isnt the location going to be covered by ur seats? The speakers would be placed next to the drivers bottom and pointed right into the front seats. One can do wonders when using the SAAB current location of the speakers. Quote Watts up?
