It's not just the cover, that's easy. It's what caused it and whether there is a large amount of internal damage. It will take a good amount of labor to tear apart the engine to look for faults. Wicks Posted June 13, 2012 Author Report Share Posted June 13, 2012 OK enough diverging from the build. Prepping a spot on the left side of the trunk for battery #2. Forming a metal strap to hold the battery down. The battery is wedged between two rails and can't slide over and short against the metal strap. Although I would have liked XS to have raised the plastic on the posts a bit higher. adding some bondo to the inside of the box to smooth out the corners and help seal the box. Another test fit of the port assembly. Using white primer to cover the port assembly before it goes in the box. The white should look good with the exterior of the car and also for what I plan to do with the inside of the box.
