Wicks
ok ok. im watching. no idea where this is going ok ok. im watching. no idea where this is goingI'm assuming amps or something will be mounted on the bottom of the trunk lid? Good to see you're still working on this! Got it Sphinx This was a tough choice 'cuz I LOVE my old Punch200 and the flip down mounting bracket that I made for it. Took a hell of a lot of planning and fab work to bring it to life. But my ultimate goal is to go active and I cant do that with one 2 channel amp. I could upgrade to a 4 or even 6 channel amp but I just don't have the space in this tight corner of my trunk. Soooooooo the only other option was to go UP, way up to the trunk lid. Given the dimensions of the available space, I needed an amp that was longer than it was tall which the Punch200 is not.... I could mount it sideways but my OCD wouldn't allow that Need to mount the logo right-side up. So I went on the search for an amp that is longer then it is tall. Keep in mind, I'm also a massive fan of old school amps. Very cool amp but my setup is already installed and working. Good call, Fosgate did rotate the orientation of the amp to improve cooling with the fins running vertical. Plus they had interlink caps which link multiple amps together. Personally I like the older DSM amps better but I already have my setup installed and operational.
