Meter was in the port, was metering for a competition today and was curious what it would do.

Had a dBDrag competition today.

Yesterday I did some testing to get ready for dBDrag (Sealed on the dash) since I've never tried it or any competing at all.

Here's my response across ~30-60Hz.

Found out my best sealed frequency's are 43, 44 and 45Hz.

With that I headed to my first competition today.

Here's my first elimination round (me on the left):

My second elimination round (me on the right):

BOOM, got 2nd Place.......Shiny

Had a blast and will definitely have to try out more competing in the future

Can we get a video of you playing some music to see how quickly it responds to the different changes in frequency?

Sure, I'll do a video on music as well.

In its current default setting it will miss some dynamic signals here and there, but it does have an adjustable time base that I need to experiment with more.

For a $50 oscilloscope it does do some amazing things.

So you just eased my stress a bit. I was worried cause I had so much excursion on mine, but looking at yours all sealed up, and how they move, I'm not worried so much anymore.

Everything looks sweet man.

Question, on the o scope. Do you have a microphone somewhere for that or is it hooked into the amp or how does it pick up sound?

Thx Dude, I really like it. It definitely helps view the signal rather then just a clip light.

Oh yeah, no worries on the excursion. Actually I CAN'T bottom out these XL's with the 5K...

Given the smaller size of my box, the rise lowers the output of the amp and keeps everything well in control.

I have a previous post where I show the actual impedance sweep of my sub/subbox system. Lowest impedance is only 1.78ohms, highest is like 12ohms IIRC.

I'm actually giving some serious thought to reconing to 0.5.........or getting a bigger amp.

The oscope has two input channels which are limited to -14V/+20V. The 5K puts out WAYY more then that.

So I have two wires connected to my amp outputs which then feed to a resistor divider to reduce the voltage.

The smaller signal is then run up to the oscope inputs.

Build looks great. Here is an idea. Remove the DC logo off the one sub and put a small DC logo in the middle of the sub box in that empty space You have. Surely you can center it on there.
