Guest Posted May 13, 2012 Report Posted May 13, 2012 My comment was joke, anyway the clipping indicator on the remote gain knob is accurate, if it is on solid it is clipping, if it is blinking then it is just a soft clip, not harming anything. no Yes it is. thats not what my scope says about my aq's clip light

My DC 3.5k was off by a lot, while my DC 5k was only off by a little. i agree, sort of how amps max output change form amp to amp, its not surprising if the accuracy may also change some, though not as much as amp output and such is that something can also slowly become less accurate over time like with extended use? some electronics are made with an expiration date, wondering if something like that is similar
