ant the ninja
I was wondering if anyone can shed some light on this, my friend has a Hifonics BRZ1200.1 and wants to trade my audiopipe ap1500d for it. Would this be a good idea or not? As of right now I cant go down to 1ohm with my subs so I'm stuck at 2ohm's until i upgrade my subs, so I wouldn't be losing too much power at 2ohms. Anyone think this would be a good idea to trade? Quote 2002 Ford Explorer XLT Front Stage: Crescendo CCX 6.5's Rear Stage: ??? ant the ninja
Yeah I do love my ap but a lot of people on here seem to hate it. I think its a better idea to stay with it too, gives me a better option at 1ohm when I upgrade. Thanks guys. Quote 2002 Ford Explorer XLT Front Stage: Crescendo CCX 6.5's Rear Stage: ??? Thanks guys. yea people do hate on them.. i think its because they are cheap and people think they dont put out rated power ( and they do..and CLEAN power too)..lots of videos to prove it.. or they had a "friend" that had one and it blew..prolly bc he was using extension cords for pwr n grnd and 20g speaker wire
notorious97200
I know Hifonics is not the best, but I've never heared they were badder than AP ! Not saying it is wrong, just surprised by the answers. To the OP : it won't make any difference. Save some money to get rid of this AP amp later ! I must admit that I don't like AP at all. teamace24
Many people hate on them had my 1500 for more than 3 years even got a 3 year warranty with it just in case since it wasnt a known brand yet but i even outlasted that. Had the hifonics 1600 as well and both amps were identical in terms of being loud on the same setup so that trade is pointless unless he has warranty or something like that and you dont and its transferable. When i upgrade im going to make sure i try to get as close to double the power as i can since many will not hear as much of a difference even stepping up to 2000rms on the same setup.
